Answer:

CARTOON ANALYSIS CHART

Identify all the people that you see in the cartoon. Who are they? Why are they significant?

They are significant because COVid-19 is dangerous for a teacher and student.

Identify all the symbols included in the cartoon. What does each symbolize?

It symbolizes that if there are face to face classes, covid 19 can still spread.

Describe what is happening in the cartoon. Explain what issue is being presented.

What happens in the cartoon is that the teacher and the student face each other with covid19 disease.

What is the cartoonist’s viewpoint on the issue? How do you know this?

The cartoonist viewpoint is at this time of the pandemic in our country, it’s not a good time to start face to face classes. COVID-19 cases are rising rapidly day by day. It is unsafe to go out. The vulnerable ones (elders and people more prone to COVID) are at risk in contracting the disease. Almost all of us wants to start face to face classes but considering the situation of COVID in our country, it won’t be possible at the moment. A lot of people are suffering mentally and physically because of this pandemic. It is also a hard to find a source of income that can sustain our needs. Even though, some things are not that effective and tough, we don’t have a choice but to endure everything and be tolerant.

Identify at least two groups or individuals who would disagree with the message presented. Why would they disagree with the message?

I may not say I will agree to the face to face classes because the risk of the COVID-19 is still there but I will not disagree because some students need to give a full attention coz they are having a hard time in the different modalities in learning used by the DepEd.But any of the decision we will just obey and follow our government officials because they knows what’s best for us.

What is the purpose of the cartoonist in writing this cartoon? What is his tone towards the issue?

To inform the student and parent if  face to face classes  is

good or bad to us
