Which is the Testis 2 Which is the Prostate

Ask: 1 Which is the Testis 2 Which is the Prostate Gland 3 Which is the Cowper’s Gland 4 Which is the Penis 5 Which is the Vas Deferens 6 Which is the Urethra 7 Which is the Glans 8 which is the Scrotum 9 Which is the Epididymis 10 Which is the Seminal Vesicle

Answer:

.One of two egg-shaped glands inside the scrotum that produce sperm and male hormones. Also called testicle.

.The prostate gland is located just below the bladder in men and surrounds the top portion of the tube that drains urine from the bladder (urethra). The prostate’s primary function is to produce the fluid that nourishes and transports sperm (seminal fluid).

.Cowper’s glands are pea sized glands present inferior to the prostate gland in the male reproductive system. They produce thick clear mucus prior to ejaculation that drains into the spongy urethra.

.The penis is the male organ used for urination and sexual intercourse. The penis is located above the scrotum. It is made of spongy tissue and blood vessels. The shaft of the penis surrounds the urethra and is connected to the pubic bone.

.The ductus deferens, or vas deferens, is a fibromuscular tube that is continuation of the epididymis and is an excretory duct of the testis. Each ductus is 30-45 cm in length and serves to transport sperms cells from the respective epididymis to the ipsilateral ejaculatory duct.

.urethra, duct that transmits urine from the bladder to the exterior of the body during urination. The urethra is held closed by the urethral sphincter, a muscular structure that helps keep urine in the bladder until voiding can occur.

.The urethral or periurethral glands (also Littré glands after Alexis Littré) are glands that branch off the wall of the urethra of male mammals. The glands secrete mucus and are most numerous in the section of the urethra that runs through the penis.

.The scrotum is the loose pouch-like sac of skin that hangs behind the penis. It holds the testicles (also called testes), as well as many nerves and blood vessels. The scrotum protects your testes, as well as providing a sort of climate control system.

.The epididymis is a long, coiled tube that stores sperm and transports it from the testes. It appears as a curved structure on the posterior (back) margin of each testis. It is comprised of three sections. These are the head, body, and tail.

.The seminal vesicles are two small glands that store and produce the majority of the fluid that makes up semen. During ejaculation, the fluid from the seminal vesicles is expelled into the ejaculatory duct where it can then move on to mix with sperm and other reproductive fluids.
