## the difference between the ages of zihann and zion is

Ask: the difference between the ages of zihann and zion is 15. if the ratio of their ages is 8:3, how old are zion and zion

Let 3x = Janine’s current age

Let x= Jeff’s current age

Janine’s age 15 years from now is 3x + 15

Jeff’s age 15 years from now is x + 15

This ratio has to equal 2/1.

3x+15x+15=21

Let cross-products equal each other:

2(x + 15) = 3x + 15

2x + 30 = 3x + 15

2x – 2x + 30 – 15 = 3x – 2x + 15 – 15

x = 15, so Jeff is 15 years now

3x = 45, so Janine is 45 years nownownownowstepnownownownownowstepnowbyby

## Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion

The Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion is an Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in Ethiopia, which is claimed to contain the Ark of the Covenant.

Explanation:

:)))))

The Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion (Ge’ez: ርዕሰ አድባራት ቅድስተ ቅዱሳን ድንግል ማሪያም ጽዮን Re-ese Adbarat Kidiste Kidusan Dingel Maryam Ts’iyon; Tigrinya: ቤተ-ክርስትያን እመቤትና ማርያም ጽዮን Bet-Kristiyan ‘Embetena Mariyam Ts’iyon) is an Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in Ethiopia, which is claimed to contain the Ark of the Covenant.

The church is located in the town of Axum, Tigray, near the grounds of Obelisks of Axum. The original church is believed to have been built during the reign of Ezana the first Christian ruler of the Kingdom of Axum (Present-day Eritrea and Ethiopia), during the 4th century AD, and has been rebuilt several times since then.[1]

Today, the site contains the Old Church rebuilt in the 16th century, the New Cathedral built by the Emperor Haile Selassie in 1950s, as well as a chapel that said to house the Ark of the Covenant.

Since its founding during the episcopacy of Frumentius (known in Ethiopia as Abune Selama Kesatie Birhan or “Our Father of Peace the Revealer of Light”) the Church of Mary of Zion has been destroyed and rebuilt at least twice. Its first putative destruction occurred at the hands of Queen Gudit during the 10th century. Its second, confirmed, destruction occurred in the 16th century at the hands of Ahmad ibn Ibrihim al-Ghazi, after which it was rebuilt by the Emperor Gelawdewos, then further rebuilt and enlarged by Fasilides during the 17th century.[2][3]

St. Mary of Zion was the traditional place where Ethiopian Emperors came to be crowned. And indeed, if an Emperor was not crowned at Axum, or did not at least have his coronation ratified by a special service at St. Mary of Zion, he could not be referred to by the title of “Atse”.[4][5][6]

In the 1950s, the Emperor Haile Selassie built a new modern Cathedral that was open to both men and women next to the old Cathedral of Our Lady Mary of Zion. The old church remains accessible only to men, as Mary, symbolized by the Ark of the Covenant allegedly resting in its chapel, is the only woman allowed within its compound.

The church is a significant center of pilgrimage for the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, especially during the main Festival of Tsion Mariam on 30 November (21 Hidar on the Ethiopian calendar).

## sino si O' Rourke at Williamson

irreversible. In Gobalization and History, Kevin O’Rourke and Jeffrey Williamson present a coherent picture of trade, migration, and international capital flows in the Atlantic economy in the century prior to 1914–the first great globalization boom, which anticipated the experience of the last fifty years. The authors estimate the extent of globalization and its impact on the participating countries, and discuss the political reactions that it provoked. The book’s originality lies in its application of the tools of open-economy economics to this critical historical period–differentiating it from most previous work, which has been based on closed-economy or single-sector models. The authors also keep a close eye on globalization debates of the 1990s, using history to inform the present and vice versa. The book brings together research conducted by the authors over the past decade–work that has profoundly influenced how economic history is now written and that has found audiences in economics and history, as well as in the popular press.
